YOUTH AGE GROUPS
Youth Baseball at Athletes Lab begins with 8u and runs through 13u. These teams are volunteer coach led and at Athletes Lab Teams it is important the parents and athletes build a strong foundation in baseball and team based play. With our volunteer coaches we try to foster an environment where we can help the Coaches grow with the game enabling the best for the athletes on the team. We have multiple levels (AA, AAA, MAJ) at each age group and with each year the team moves in age group we encourage our teams to strive for stronger game play to prepare the athletes for the next level; especially once they reach 12u/13u. It is up to each individual coach as to whether or not tryouts will be held at the end of each season.
YOUTH to SHOWCASE TRANSITION AGE GROUP
OUR YOUTH/SHOWCASE TRANSITION AGE GROUP WORKS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN YOUTH BASEBALL AND SHOWCASE BASEBALL FOR THE ATHLETE AND THE PARENTS. During this season Athletes will be taught the importance of individual training and growth; as well as, the importance of leadership on the field. Coaches will still have a hands on approach during games but practices may be more limited and may also occur as combo practices with the Showcase Teams. This Transition period is important as the 8th grader prepares for HS and experiences the difference between Youth Travel Ball and Showcase Ball.
