This quote isn't just about the physical aspect of the sport but it is also about the MINDSET an athlete has when they are playing the sport.
At Athletes Lab Performance Center we believe one the most important aspects of athletic training is mental training. "If you lose the mental game, you lose the real game." That is a very true statement but it is much easier said than done. We want to help our athletes not only be able to recite what they should know but more importantly we want them to LIVE IT. At the end of the day Teddy Roosevelt said it best:

THE CAPTAIN'S PLAYBOOK
PRICING: 4 Week Series (must have at least 5 in attendance)
- $275 for the whole team + $25/athlete attending for materials
- This course can be done at Team School or Athletes Lab Performance Center
This 4 week course is specifically designed for the Leaders on your team or athletes wanting to grow their Leadership skills. Lee Swanson will cover the following topics with the athletes:
- The Captain's Class: What Makes Leaders Different
- Player Intangibles: What your Coaches, Teammates & Organization Need From You
- Mental Toughness & Controllable's: What Breaks You and Your Teammates
- How Our Goals Start with Our Character: What Drives Winning Teams & Individual Success
TEAM STANDARDS
PRICING: 4 Week Series: The whole team plus coaches need to be in attendance each week.
- $275 for the whole team + $25/athlete attending for materials
- This course is done at The Lab: Performance Therapy
What is the culture you are creating on your team? As a coach do you have standards that your team must accomplish each time they are at practice? This 4 week course is to be done as a full team with all coaches involved. The team will come up a with a list of STANDARDS that are important to them and it is up to the TEAM to implement them together. Through the four weeks team discussion will center around what is important to each individual player and the coaches and how you can combine those together to create one list while holding each other accountable in a positive way.
INDIVIDUAL MENTAL TRAINING
PRICING: 4 Week Series (Choose your own topics)
- $250 for in-person sessions/materials included (paper); Additional Weeks: $50/week (need to be continuous)
- $200 for zoom sessions/materials included electronically; Additional Weeks: $40/week (need to be continuous)
Athletes Lab Mental Training offers 1-1 training in person or over zoom covering a variety of topics that will be important to your athlete. Individual sessions are 1-1 and require at least 4 weeks of skills. Listed below are our topics and you are welcome to do more than four weeks for a discounted price per week.
