My passion and love for soccer has started at a very young age. Being born in Costa Rica soccer is almost like a culture! I have been in Catawba County for 44 years, I am proud father of 4 kids and our lives revolve around all things sports. My soccer experience started with playing at Gaston United. I have had a very successful coaching career starting with rec league soccer from 2002-2012 (starting with YMCA Hickory and then I was a soccer coordinator for Maiden Rec Department also have coached several all star teams. While in my coaching career as the head varsity coach (boys and girls) at Maiden High School I was able to take the women's soccer team to playoffs for the very first time. I want to project my passion for soccer through this program. My goal is to teach and train kids the fundamentals of soccer and to eventually train to an elite level! |
